MySQL DB Developer

Job Description

The MySQL DB Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the MySQL databases used by eDAS and its clients. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify user requirements and provide customized solutions that meet eDAS’s and its clients’ needs.

Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in MySQL, SQL, and database design principles
Familiarity with database administration tools, knowledge of database backup and recovery, and database security and authorization
Knowledge of MySQL features and platform compatibility, along with experience with replication configuration in MySQL
Experience with programming languages such as Python, PHP, or Java
Expertise in optimizing queries and creating table indexing for MySQL databases
Experience with cloud services, such as Amazon RDS and PostgreSQL
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Experience with data warehousing and data modeling is a plus
